About me

Odette Estelle, the 21 year old glamour model from Kent, never set out to become a model..in fact, when at school, she wanted to become a vet or art therapist, but life experiences led her in a different direction.

Many people may see the blonde hair and curvy body posing seductively for the camera, but there is more to Odette Estelle than any other model...

Odette Estelle became a young carer to her mother aged 11, and looked after her younger sisters throughout her teens. Though it was a struggle, particularly financially, Odette worked as a waitress, whilst excelling in her studies. She was often bullied at school and called names such as 'ugly', from wearing glasses and no make up, being tall and gangly, and also being exceptionally intelligent. However it made her more determined to work hard and prove everyone wrong. One of her dreams was to move her mum and younger sisters away from the council estate they lived in, to improve their quality of life.

She was accredited to having some of the highest grades recorded at her school, and became Head Girl in sixth Form whilst mentoring special needs children. This led to her winning a place at university, studying Psychology & Fine Art, with the goal of becoming an art psychotherapist.

However from the age of 17 she slowly became under the control of an older boyfriend, who mentally abused her for over 2 years after she moved into his home. The experience meant Odette dropped out of university and never left the house. She was not allowed to wear make up, or skimpy clothes, and became a literal 'house slave' to his obsessive demands. He convinced her to cut contact with her family and friends, and she began to contemplate suicide from depression.

However, despite her low confidence, she would look at photos of Jordan AKA Katie Price, and dream of looking like the gorgeous, confident and sexy glamour model. After the abuse became more violent, she fled back to her family and begun to reconstruct her shattered life and self esteem. So she took the plunge, and made the effort to look good and copy the hair and make up of glamour models, ask for photoshoots, go to castings, and apply to agencys. Despite many rejections, she did not give up.

Odette began working with John Moss, a glamour photographer who she accredits for helping her become a huge success in the glamour industry. She began to tour with magazines such as Max Power in carshows, model for Suzuki, Gas Gas, Sherco, Bennetts, before being regularly published in magazine such as Nuts & The Daily Sport. Odette returned to uni briefly, but decided to leave after her beauty pageant & promotional work took off in a big way..in 2008 she was the Regional Finalist for Kent, in Miss Student UK, to win £10,000 for local charities.

Her confidence with her image has never been fully restored since the bullying from both the playground and her violent ex partner, and resulted in diagnosis of Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Bi-Polar.

Life has only become better for Odette, despite bouts of depression.. in 2010, she unveiled her very own photographic business 'The Candi Studio'. The premises boasts a location house, garden with a 28 ft swimming pool, jacuzzi and indoor studio. She also provides model tuition and help to those who wish to enter the modelling industry, with safe porfolio shoots to help stop young models being scammed.

This also ran alongside her clothing label, and merchandise which is even on sale in boutiques...you see, Odette's philosophy was simple; Work hard and prove them all wrong.
